Guajome County Park

Guajome County Park is located at Guajome Lake Road in Oceanside, California and is approximately one hour and 45 minutes drive from Los Angeles International Airport. The park has a campground with 33 sites that include partial hook-ups and caters for trailers and motor homes up to 45 feet. Also at the campground is a caravan pavilion and campers can enjoy shade and afternoon sea breezes with the Pacific Ocean just eight miles away.

For anglers there are two fishing ponds with a variety of fish, which also attracts many migratory birds. During warmer, sunnier days visitors can bring along a picnic and relax on the many areas of green lawn here. There are lots of activities for children and adults to enjoy with playgrounds and a basketball court among the things to enjoy here.

For hikers and horse riders there is four and a half miles of trails through the park, where diverse habitats can be enjoyed such as woodlands, chaparral, wetlands and mixed grasslands. Wedding ceremonies are often held here at a small Spanish style gazebo overlooking the lake and marsh. Up to 200 guests can be accommodated here for weddings and other special events with heating and cooking facilities available.
