Glenn E. Vedder Ecological Reserve - Underwater Park and Tidepools

Glenn E. Vedder Ecological Reserve - Underwater Park and Tidepools can be found at the coastline of Heisler Park at Cliff Drive in Laguna Beach, California. This is an area popular with divers looking to explore the marine life here. Prior to visiting any of the tidepools, groups should notify the Marine Protection Officer to ensure their safety and the protection of the marine life.

The ecological reserve contains marine life, plants, game fish, shells and rocks that spans from the north section of Main Beach to Diver's Cove. Visitors are welcome to dive in the waters here but are requested not to disturb or remove anything. Divers should check on the ocean conditions before attempting to explore here.

The Laguna Beach Visitors and Conference Bureau has tide charts for all visitors' information. The beach Visitor Center in Forest Avenue is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and has various maps, information guides and event calendars. Laguna Beach is also home to over 20,000 acres of wilderness for visitors to enjoy on foot or bicycle and is a delightful area for taking a picnic.
