Craft & Folk Art Museum

The Craft & Folk Art Museum, located at 5814 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, hosts several temporary and dynamic exhibits throughout the year to showcase our diverse world via artistic mediums.

The museum defines the term "folk art" in a contemporary light and encompasses a wide range of rural, tribal, urban and modern expressions. The exhibitions and public programs are developed with input from community cultural groups to ensure authenticity.

The museum offers workshops for all ages, school tours for grades K-12, and a summer camp that allows children to explore the Petersen Automotive Museum in addition to the Craft & Folk Art exhibits.

The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Mondays. The museum offers free admission the first Wednesday of every month. Parking is available at three large public parking lots within a block from the museum.

Housed on Los Angeles' Museum Row, the Craft & Folk Art Museum is within walking distance from several other museums including: George C. Page/La Brea Tar Pits, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Petersen Automotive Museum and Carole and Barry Kaye Museum of miniatures.
