Clairmont Farms

Clairmont Lavender Farms situated in the Santa Ynez Valley, which is part of the Santa Barbara County, is a picturesque family-owned organic farm with five acres of Grosso lavender. The farm is located at 2480 Roblar Avenue in Los Olivos, CA, and opens daily with operating hours depending on the season; from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during daylight savings time and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. standard time.

Every year, the lavender fields with the Santa Ynez Mountains in the background attract artists of all types including photographers, painters and filmmakers. The fields bloom from mid June to mid to late July depending on the weather

Visitors are encouraged to walk through the fields, picnic, learn about lavender farming and browse the shops. Demonstrations on how to operate the lavender distiller are given to patrons upon request at no charge.

The lavender is harvested by traditional means: cutting, banding and hanging each plant bunch by hand. The farm's main product is an organic lavender essential oil as well as a variety of other lavender based products: tea, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body butter, sachets and even dog shampoo.

Visitors of the Clairmont Farm are minutes away from many of the area's best attractions, including several Santa Barbara wineries and the town of Solvang.
