California Center for the Arts


California Center for the Arts is located in North San Diego in a district called Escondido. It is a multi- purpose center for artistic expression. The complex sits on 12 acres with a 9,000 square foot conference center, two theatres, and education studios. Also at the site is a museum which focuses on regional art. It is known to house international artists' works and traveling exhibitions. The center for performing arts was founded to ensure all lives within reach of the center could be bettered by visiting stage performances and much more. It is a cultural, educational, and social experience.

Performances vary from such things as "Ring of Fire: The Johnny Cash Musical Show" with Jason Edwards to some of the Broadway hits. The center is open all year round. The museum provides a variety of different exhibits from new art to older works. Membership is possible for $25 and up. They also have corporate matching funds. The conference center can be used for meetings, trade shows, weddings, and other events. It is possible to book the center, but reservations should be made quickly, especially when it is for a wedding to ensure the venue is open.
