Cadillac Hotel

The Cadillac Hotel is technically in Venice Beach, California. Its exact location is 8 Dudley Avenue. It is a historic hotel with views of Venice Beach, Santa Monica Bay and the coastline of Malibu. The Cadillac Hotel design was meant to fit in with Southern California which is marked by sunsets and sea breezes. The exterior is more of pink sandstone, with small windows in each room. The age of the hotel required a renovation in recent months in order to restore it to its former appeal. Now visitors can be more comfortable at the hotel with cable television in each room, telephone with messaging, internet, electronic safes, iPod alarm clock, plasma TVs, fridges, individual heating units, hair dryers, and complimentary bath amenities.

The Cadillac Hotel is near several Venice cafes, bars, and restaurants for dining. Guests can also explore shopping, Beverly Hills, and Disneyland from the hotel. The Cadillac Hotel does not have a restaurant onsite. It became a landmark for the city, especially as it reaches 100 years. The hotel was built in 1914 and was a summer residence for Charlie Chaplin. It remains an art deco location, though it looks immensely better than it has in years.
