FLIGHT CREW REPORTED STRIKING ONE BIRD ON THE NOSE OF THE A/C AT APPROX 2000' AGL DURING T/O CLIMB FROM KLAX. THE A/C CONTINUED ON TO ITS DESTINNATION AND LANDED W/O INCIDENT. KCLT ARPT OPS PERSONNEL COLLECTED A TISSUE SAMPLE FROM THE A/C WHICH HAS BEEN SENT TO THE SMITHSONIAN FOR ANALYSIS. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE FOUND ON THE A/C. PILOT ALSO SUBMITTED REPORT (2015-8-28-161237)
