Remarks: WHILE RETURNING TO BASE FROM AN INTER FACILITY TRANSPORT, WE WERE 3NM NW KGED WHEN WE ENCOUNTERED A BIRDSTRIKE. JUST STARTED APRCH WHEN IT APPEARS A GULL WAS ATTRACTED TO OUR LANDING LIGHTS AND FLEW INTO OUR FLT PATH. ON CLOSE INSPN AFTER LANDING, NO DMG TO THE NOSE AREA NOR WAS THERE EVID OF CONTACT WITH ANY ROTATING COMPONENTS OF THE A/C.
