- A Friendly Hometown Experience! Established in 1986 by Gary Leland and Leo Job, the very first Gary & Leo's IGA opened its doors in Havre, Montana. Having both worked for Buttrey Foods for many years, they were well qualified to start their own business and with the help of their families, friends and employees, Gary & Leo's IGA has been able to branch out and seize growing opportunities. Soon stores became possible in Florence, Conrad, and Columbia Falls, Montana, and today the stores in Florence and Conrad are still thriving. With the passing of Leo in 2005, Gary continues to make their store the best place to shop in town. With proven lower prices, astonishing customer service, reliable employees, and years of experience they blow away the competition. Most recently, Gary & Leo's moved their location to the old Albertsons store. They are in the process of remodeling to make room for more variety. Of the two major grocery stores in Havre, Gary & Leo's IGA has been there the longest, and is also the only locally owned and operated store in town.
