- WHO IS CATTERTON HOME INSPECTIONS ? My name is Allen Catterton and I own and manage Catterton Home Inspections. I am a Florida State licensed home inspector (LICENSE #HI-6) and a CERTIFIED MASTER INSPECTOR® through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. I am a past President of the Northwest Florida Home Inspectors’ Association and one of its current directors. I am an affiliate member of the Pensacola Association of Realtors. I have operated my business as a home inspector for over 7 years and I have performed literally thousands of inspections in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, NEW CONSTRUCTION as well as 4-POINT and WIND MITIGATION INSURANCE inspections comprise the majority of the types of inspections that I perform. I come from a technical and scientific background and my experience has entailed over 35 years of testing and evaluation. I am an active member of InterNACHI which requires yearly testing and continual training in order to maintain my membership. The training affords me the opportunity to enhance my skills as a home inspector and become aware of new or different inspection procedures or equipment. My business reputation is the most valuable asset it has. Positive word of mouth referrals to friends, associates and family members of my clients is more effective and beneficial than any amount of paid advertising that I would purchase.
