Sunshine Dental Care LLC opened its doors on November 7, 2006. Dr. Winnie Cheung is accepting new patients to the practice. Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Cheung came to the United States for her graduation and professional degrees graduating in 1999. She has had the pleasure of working with children for the past six years. Getting to know the children and their families over the years has been the most rewarding. She chose Southwick because she realized that there was a need for another dentist due to the growing population of the town. Family dentistry is what Sunshine Dental Care brings to Southwick and the surrounding communities. The goal of the practice is to give each patient a terrific dental experience. According to Dr. Cheung, her goal is to educate each patient on the importance of good dental health, proper oral hygiene and how that relates to good physical health and increased self-esteem. The goal for the upcoming year is to bring the residents of Southwick and the neighboring towns a premier, state-of-the-art dental facility that could be viewed as an icon of health and happiness. It should be a place where kids look forward to going and families feel welcome, comfortable and confident.
