Observation: There is ice buildup on a bag of ice in the ice display freezer. Also, there is ice build up dripping on food packages in the walk in freezer. Corrected on site by moving boxes of food.

Observed meat in retail cooler that is not properly labeled with the common name of contents or safe handeling instructions. Additionally, The digital scale used in the retail store must be certified for accuracy by the Iowa Department of Agriculture, Weights & Measures Bureau.

Shatter proof bulbs or other effective covering is needed for the lights above griddle.
- Date marking for ready to eat, PHF/TCS food prepared on-site or opened commercial container held for more than 24 hours
Observed several items (including cooked potatoes, soups and salads) that were not datemarked. Guidance document left for reference and correction was initiated for today's inventory.

Observed homemade summer sausage in the retail store. Repeat violation that must be resolved. With the exception of fresh fruits and vegetables, only food from an approved source that is licensed and inspected can be offered for sale to the public.
