Heliflite Too


Heliflite Too is a helicopter service operating from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on NW 21st Avenue and Boca Raton Airport on Airport Road in Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale Executive is the second busiest single runway airport in the United States making it a good but challenging place to learn to fly helicopters. In addition to flight training and helicopter instrument instruction, Heliflite Too also provide sightseeing tours.

The helicopter tours take passengers on sightseeing trips over South Florida for a minimum of half an hour per trip including flights at sunrise or sunset. The Robinson R22 helicopter can carry one passenger or three can be accommodated in the air-conditioned Robinson R44. Flights carry passengers over the rivers and beaches of Fort Lauderdale and the Intercoastal Waterway or even as far away as the beaches of Miami and Star Island.

Visitors wishing to get to Key West or other places in South Florida can also hire the helicopters to take them there. The company offers aerial photographic services 24 hours a day that are helpful for surveys of the area and wildlife or simple shots of the yachts in the harbor. Anyone aged 16 or over and who speaks and understands the English language can apply for helicopter flying lessons.
