FAA DID INVESTIGATION. (DATA ENTRY NOTE: NO REPORT RECEIVED AS OF 5/22/02). NTSB INVESTIGATED. STUDENT PILOT LANDED IN FIELD ADJACENT TO AIRPORT. L HORIZ STABILIZER BUCKLED AND L ELEVATOR WAS TORN OFF.
