Remarks: NOTICED AMMATER SHOWING FULL SCALE DISCHARGE SHORTLY AFTER T/O. ALTERNATOR CAME BACK MOMENTARILY DO WE CONTD TO DOTHAN, AL. SMELLED SMOKE AND THOUGHT WE HAD AN ELECTRICAL FIRE. MADE A FAST APCH TO DOTHAN AND NOTICED A BIRD INSIDE COWLING. ENG HEAT MADE THE SMOKE WE SMELLED. BIRD DAMAGED THE PRIMARY ELECTRICAL LEAD AND THIS REQD A REPLACEMENT OF ALTERNATOR.
