Stearns Wharf


Stearns Wharf runs along the coast of Santa Barbara, California. It is a place for visitors to enjoy a working wharf with sea breezes, local fishing boats in port, and marine life at an aquarium nearby. It is possible for visitors to catch the Harbour Queen for a whale watching cruise or stop in a local restaurant to sample some wine.

Attractions located at the Wharf include Captain Don's Cruises, Madame Rosinka, Stearns Wharf Bait and Tackle, and Ty Warner Sea Center. Specialty item shops include Coastal Treasures, Deep Blue Sea Toys, Mother Stearns Candy, Nature's Own Shells, and Old Wharf Trading Company. Also on the Wharf is Topside Clothing. For food visitors can enjoy Char West, Coastal Winery, Great Pacific Ice Cream, Harbor Restaurant, Moby Dick Restaurant, and Santa Barbara Shellfish.

Parking along the wharf is generally $2.50 per hour, with a maximum of $20 for the day. The first 90 minutes can be free for those who get merchant validation. Special events occur at the wharf at various times of the year. The most popular celebration is the Fourth of July with fireworks and festival stalls. The Wharf can only be accessed by pedestrians.
