This year-round resort is a place to spend time with friends and family. It is the closest full-service marina to Emerald Bay which gives visitors plenty of chances to explore Lake Tahoe. Nearby are ski resorts and casinos, adding to the experience. Guests can camp at one of the tent or RV camping sites, enjoy one of the lakefront cabins, or enjoy the comfort of the historic hotel. Guests can rent boats for fishing and waterskiing, or just to cruise around the water and enjoy the lake breezes. Dining at the resort is a delicious and enjoyable experience. The Beacon Bar and Grill offers lunch, dinner, cocktails, and appetizers, all served in an elegant dining room or in the outdoor dining space. Their claim to fame is the Rum Runner, best enjoyed sipped lakeside with friends. The menu includes chicken, seafood, steaks, and a variety of other entrees and desserts. The General Store is a great place to grab a quick breakfast or sandwich for lunch before heading out for an afternoon on the lake. The Fresh Ketch Restaurant is another waterside dining option that provides fresh seafood and live music.
