    Observation: Observed thermometer in the bottom of prep unit where the mercury had seperated and was not providing accurate temperature.
    Correction: Replace the thermometer to ensure accurate temperature measuring.
  • Critical: Backflow Prevention Device, When Required*
    Observation: Backflow or backsiphonage prevention device not available on threaded faucet as required by law. Backflow device not installed on rear service/mop sink.
    Correction: Provide a backflow or backsiphonage prevention device on all threaded faucets.
  • Handwashing Signage/Handwashing Facilities (corrected on site)
    Observation: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands is not provided at all lavatories used by food employees. The sign at the front handsink at the fryers was missing a sign.
    Correction: Provide a sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands at all handwashing lavatories used by food employees.

Facility nice and clean, few minor things to be completed, but nothing that will preclude opening. Owner to contact once city has approved outdoor smoker area for a final look by the health department.

    Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the stands on the tables and the doors under the drink stand are bare wood and not designed or constructed to be easily cleanable.
    Correction: Seal or paint the surfaces to ensure easy cleanability and to not absorb liquids and cleaners.
  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: The door gasket to the Bev Aire 2-door reach in is torn and in poor repair.
    Correction: Replace the door gasket in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Light Bulbs Protective Shielding
    Observation: Light bulb in dry storage is not shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant.
    Correction: Shield or replace light bulb with a coated or shatter-resistant bulb.
