PERMIT TO BE RELEASED UPON COMPLIANCE WITH FOOD HANDLER REQUIREMENT. HAS BEEN OUT OF COMPLIANCE FOR SEVERAL INSPECTIONS.

    Observation: No employees hold a food handlers card and as noted in previous inspections has been an ongoing issue.
    Correction: Please obtain food handlers cards within 15 days of inspection to gain compliance with City of Suffolk Code, which could be punishable by a Class 1 Misdameaner for each employee failing to comply and continuing to work with food.

Bev Air RI observed to be filled completely full with milk. As discussed per last inspection, smaller quantity of milk recommended as interior temp is slightly elevated.
Employees require current Suffolk health cards. Obtain cards within 30 days.

    Observation: Hand sink access blocked by covered container of food samples.
    Correction: Remove container and maintain access to hand sink at all times of business to facillitate good handwashing among employees.

Chlorine used as sanitizer. Test kit provided and properly demonstrated.
Sanitizing solution inside of sanitizing bucket required.

    Observation: PIC unaware of reportable illnesses, reporting procedures, operator responsiblity, etc.
    Correction: Information pertaining to reportable illnesses reviewed with PIC.

    Observation: PIC unaware of employee health policy.
    Correction: Employee health policy reviewed in detail with PIC.
  • Critical: Food - Potentially Hazardous Food - Cold Holding* (corrected on site)
    Observation: Bev Air RI containing milk observed to have ambient temp of 55F. PIC advised that issue arised <=24 hrs prior when circuit was discovered to be blown. Internal temp of milk observed to be 51F. PIC advised that equipment temps are monitored 2x daily and the last equipment temp was noted >4 hrs ago.
    Correction: All milk temps taken during inspection. Milk containers with temps >41F +/- 2F relocated to alternate cold holding. All other milk (48F to 52F) voluntarily discarded by Farm Fresh management. Service call placed.
  • Equipment, Utensils, Linens, and Single-Service and Single-Use Articles
    Observation: Whisk observed to be improperly stored with food contact portion facing upward.
    Correction: Properly store whisk inverted as to prevent contamination from hands.
