Observation: The handwashing station is being used to clean equipment and utensils. Recommend installing a sink for dumping and rinsing coffee pots.
Correction: The handwashing facility identified above is to be used for washing hands only.

Observation: (REPEAT) The permit holder is not complying with the conditions of the license. The conditions state single service only. The multi-use tongs were removed. Disposable tongs were on site.
Correction: Upon acceptance of the permit issued by the regulatory authority, the permit holder in order to retain the permit shall comply with directives of the regulatory authority including time frames for corrective actions specified in inspection reports, notices, orders, warnings, and other directives issued by the regulatory authority in regard to the permit holder's food establishment or in response to community emergencies.

- Critical: Backflow Prevention Device, When Required (corrected on site)
Observation: Observed a hose attached to a faucet fixture. The hose extended below the flood rim level of the sink basin. The pressure vacuum backflow prevention device was observed leaking. The hose was removed from the sink basin and hung up.
Correction: Alter the length of the hose to provide the necessary separation between the water supply and the flood rim level of the sink basin. The minimum allowable separation distance must be at least 2x the diameter of the water supply inlet and at least 1 inch, or install an approved backflow prevention device.

Observation: The handwashing sink in the kitchen is used for purposes other than handwashing. Tongs and a bucket were observed in the sink basin.
Correction: A handwashing sink may not be used for purposes other than handwashing. Sinks used for food preparation and warewashing can become sources of contamination if used as handwashing facilities by employees returning from the toilet or from duties which have contaminated their hands.

Observation: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands is not provided at all handwashing lavatories used by food employees and/or is not clearly visible to food employees (The kitchen handsink, and toilet rooms).
Correction: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees and shall be clearly visible to food employees. A sign or poster is required to remind food employees to wash their hands.
