Description: On bluffs above the Pacific Ocean, this lodge features one of the best vistas in Wine Country. All but one of its 20 rooms face the sea, and cozy window seats offer front-row viewing for spectacular sunsets. If you’re in need of a peaceful getaway, this is the place. Rooms are walled in knotty pine, and the aura is rustic. Some units have fireplaces, and family units are available. All are luxuriously appointed. TVs are missing from most rooms. All rooms are nonsmoking. Hiking trails along the bluffs are well marked, and you can follow them down to the beach. A challenging 18-hole golf course is available, and there’s also a restaurant.
