Description: You cannot go to Ensenada without stopping in at the legendary Hussong’s. To get a glimpse at the action that makes it a legend, visit Hussong’s on Cinco de Mayo. It looks a lot like spring break in Palm Springs, The cantina has been an institution in the seaside town since 1892, and even though its hype is bigger than its reality, it’s still a great party bar. If you want a table, be sure to arrive by early afternoon, and be prepared to dodge a raucous crowd. It’s fairly tranquil in the afternoon and early evening, but as the night heats up, both mariachi and ranchera music are played nonstop.
