Description: One of San Diego’s best parks, this 53,000-square-foot, wood-and-concrete skate giant has a vertical ramp like those used in the X-Games. The pool has depths of 4, 8, and 10 feet, and there’s a street course and an area for little dawgs and novice skaters. Open weekdays 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with two sessions (11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.) on weekends. In the summer there’s an additional session from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Members pay $22.00 per year and $4.00 per session; nonmembers pay $10.00 a session.
