The Gondola at Heavenly

Heavenly is a resort brand in Lake Tahoe, California. As part of this brand name resort there is The Gondola. The Gondola is a mountainside ride offered year round. The Gondola has eight passenger space with a glass cabin. Guests will be taken 2.4 miles up the side of the mountain where they can view Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. Riders can hop off at the observation deck, which is half way up. It is also possible to catch another Gondola going back down in order to ride all the way to the top and back to the resort.

The Gondola at Heavenly is found at Ski Run Boulevard. It is considered a tram and ski area. From the top of the mountain skiers can get off to find some of the other runs; that is, if they also want to take time to stop at the observation deck. Riders, of course, must go all the way around in order to get back to the bottom. Rides are a small fee paid at the resort. Tickets can then be passed over to the attendant running the ride. It is possible to stay at Heavenly or just come for the Gondola.
