City Garage Theatre

City Garage Theatre is located at 1340 ½ 4th Street in Santa Monica, California. The facility charges $25 for admission, those aged sixty-five and over and students with a valid ID only pay $15. Sunday's those admitted to shows pay only what they can. Friday and Saturday shows are at eight in the evening, on Sundays the shows are at five thirty in the evening.

The company is made up of approximately twenty actors, a general manager, designer/dramaturg and a director. The company does all casting from within. The goal is to produce theater productions that make people think while still being interesting.

The building the City Garage Theatre is located in was actually a city garage used by the police department and officials of the city during the 1930s. The labeled over head beams with the parking spaces are left from that time. The facility was later used for storage. During the summer of 1994 the production company took it over and had to spend four months remodeling and fixing the facility.
