Belly Up Tavern

Belly Up Tavern is located in Solana Beach, California. The Tavern is known for hosting live music in the San Diego area and has been voted the best live music venue in San Diego.

Visitors can dine at the restaurant Wild Note Café which is located just next door, it may be next door, but it is part of the Tavern. Live music is played almost every night at the tavern, alcohol and limited bar food is served. A box office is located at the Tavern; it opens at noon on the day of a performance.

All visitors to the tavern must be 21 and over, there are no exceptions to this rule. There is no dress code, although clothing and footwear are required. Visitors can check out the website to see what is on at the tavern or take home a calendar at the end of the night. An email list is also available through the website, upon signing up Belly Up VIPs will get special deals throughout the year.

The club is completely handicap accessible and is also available for rent for a private party or wedding. The tavern is a great place for a private event as it is located close to the beach, local hotels and train station. They have a state of the art sound and lighting system, HD projection screens, televisions and a full kitchen will in-house chef available for catering. Formal seating for 100 guests can be accommodated or a cocktail reception can host up to 600 people.
