  • Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices are accurate to ±1.5°C or ±3°F and are designed to be easily readable
    Observation:Thermometer in kitchen refrigerator registered 54 degrees, air temperature was 38 degrees according to a different refrigerator thermometer and this inspector's thermometer. Thermometer replaced, corrected on site.
  • Water from a non public water system is sampled and tested at least annually and as required by state water quality regulations
    Observation:Well water has not been sampled for total coliform bacteria and nitrates in the past year.
  • A variance request has been submitted and contains required information
    Observation:Observed pickled sliced and whole apples prepared on site on the shelves for sale to the public. Owner has not obtained approval for this process and has not submitted a variance request.
