Description: For 25 years the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival has helped draw attention to this bucolic and winegrowing region in Riverside County. Held the first weekend in June, the event appeals to the young and old alike with 50 vibrant hot-air balloons launched in the early mornings. A wine and cheese garden features premium locally produced vintages including sparkling wines, as well as food demonstrations, pairings, and fromage samplings. There are entertainment and activities for kids and adults including a tethered balloon ride, which has you soaring 100 feet above the imbibers below.
