Its enrollment of 27,000 students makes it the second-largest private university in California. National offers a one-course-per-month format for both undergraduate and graduate programs, with most classes held in the evenings and on Saturday. The majority of students are graduate students.Founded in 1971, the university is committed to adult learning in a convenient and practical way. Because new courses begin each month, students can enroll at any time during the year. Four schools—the School of Business and Management, the School of Education, the School of Engineering and Technology, and the School of Letters and Sciences—offer more than 45 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and 15 teaching-credential programs.
