Description: Eleven miles northwest of Healdsburg, off Dry Creek Road, this Lake Sonoma park offers more than 17,000 land and water acres. Lake Sonoma facilities include a visitor center and fish hatchery (see the Kidstuff chapter), with 113 campsites available for tents or RVs up to 50 feet. There are two group sites for up to 50 campers (advance reservations required). In addition, there are 8 boat-in/hike-in primitive campgrounds around the lake and a privately operated marina that offers boat rentals and a launch ramp. Piped water, flush toilets, solar-heated showers, and a sanitary disposal station are available in the developed area.
