  • Basic - Fan cover in walk-in cooler has accumulation of dust/debris and around fan covers in walk-in freezer.
  • Basic - In-use utensil not stored with handle above the top of potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food and rim of the container. Observed metal spoon buried in coleslaw within closed container in walk-in cooler.
  • High Priority - Employee touching ready-to-eat food with their bare hands - food was not being heated as a sole ingredient to 145 degrees F or immediately added to other ingredients to be cooked/heated to the minimum required temperature to allow bare hand contact. Establishment has no approved Alternative Operating Procedure. Upon entering establishment, observed employee engaged in food prep place hamburger buns on toaster with bare hands. Inspector monitored temperature of buns after toasting and they only reached 133°F. Observed gloves available for use in establishment and observed employee place gloves on when notified the inspector was in the establishment. **Corrected On-Site**

  • High Priority - Single-use gloves not changed as needed after changing tasks or when damaged or soiled. Observed employee with gloves on enter walk-in cooler touching soiled door handle and exiting with raw chicken products in gloved hands and then return to food prep without changing gloves.
