Round Pond

Round Pond is located at Rutherford Road in Rutherford, Napa Valley, California and is approximately one and a half hours drive from San Francisco International Airport. Round Pond features 350 planted acres of vineyard and olive trees and has been in production since the 1980s. Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon are amongst the wines produced on the estate, which visitors can come and taste whilst looking across at the Myocamas Mountains.

Tours and tastings sessions of the olive oils and red wine vinegars lasting about an hour and a half are offered here by appointment only from 10am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm daily. Visitors can also tour the wine estate by appointment at 11am and 3.30pm daily. The estate tasting enables guests to try three different wines as well as three appetizers prepared by the winery chef.

Wine tasting can also be experienced in the Round Pond library with knowledgeable educators on hand to guide guests through five of the estate's vintages. The estate also grows its own fruit and vegetable in the garden designed to complement the wines produced here. The tours are open to visitors of all ages. There are restaurants nearby including Rutherford Grill, which is along the same road as the winery.
