Plubell's Orchards

Plubell's Orchards offers fresh produce and snacks, as well as a variety of children's activities. The friendly owners help visitors choose their produce and offers a variety of fun things to do on a summer or fall afternoon. Kids can enjoy the petting zoo, climb on the tractors, get face paintings, ride in a wagon pulled by ponies or search for the perfect pumpkin in Plubell's famous pumpkin patch. The caramel apple shack is a great place to make a fresh, crisp apple taste even better. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of barbecue foods including hot dogs, turkey legs, chicken breask and tri-tip, as well as side dishes like apple cole slaw, apple cake and apple-blackberry sour cream pie. The nature trails connects Plubell's to Grandpa's Cellar Orchard and Bolsters. There is a gift shop and a variety of craft items for sale onsite. Nearby hotels include the Gold Country Inn, the Historic Cary House Hotel, the Sierra Nevada House and the Mother Lode Motel. Visitors to the orchard can enjoy lunch or dinner at nearby Chicago Pizza and Burgers, Grand China Chinese Cuisine or Casa Ramos. Other attractions in the area include the Bell Tower and the Lava Cap Winery.
