Lemon Hill


Lemon Hill, primarily a residential street, is an avenue running east to west in the Sacramento area. Along the road are located various sites, such as the Sacramento Memorial Lawn Cemetery and Home of Peace Jewish Cemetery, where the Warner brothers are buried.

From the west, Lemon Hill Avenue begins at 44th St. and runs westward about three miles terminating at Power Inn Rd. At the corner of Lemon Hill Ave. and 44 St., visitors can stop at Lemon Hill Shopping Center for a shopping and dining experience. The Boys and Girls Club of America in Sacramento on Lemon Hill Avenue as is Will C. Wood Middle School and Wood School Park at the intersection of 65th St Expressway and Lemon Avenue. Two churches, Jehovah's Witnesses-Bella and Seventh-Day Adventist, reside along this stretch of road. At the easternmost end of Lemon Hill Ave is located the Sacramento Army Depot.

The Home of Peace Jewish Cemetery is the burial site for numerous famous rabbis as well as Harry, Jack, and Sam Warner, the co-founders of Warner Brothers film studios.

Lemon Hill is located about 25 minutes by car south of the Sacramento International Airport. Nearby tourist attractions include Silver Fox Casino and Lounge, Fairytale Town, California Automobile Museum, Sacramento Zoo, Funderland, the Port of Sacramento, and several city parks
