Lancaster Estate Winery

Located in the heart of world-famous wine country, Lancaster Estate Winery and the surrounding areas are rich in history and a great setting for outdoor fun. This family-owned winery sits just 60 miles north of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in the city of Healdsburg, which has become widely known as an ultimate destination for wine and food lovers.

Sitting at the south end of Alexander Valley and just a few miles east of downtown Healdsburg, Lancaster Estate Winery has 53 acres of hillsides surrounding the estate on which the vines grow. The wines age in a naturally regulated climate located inside a 9,000 square-foot cave on the estate.

Visitors can participate in a 70-minute tour of the winery, experiencing the wine-making process from vineyard to wine cellar. The tour starts with a ride around the perimeter of the vineyard, including a view from the highest elevation. The tour then proceeds to the production facility before ending at the aging caves. Guests should make reservations for tours or tastings, which are available seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Nearby, visitors can also enjoy attractions, such as the Cloverdale Historical Society, the Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve, or F. Korbel Brothers, Inc for wine tasting.
