La Habra Children's Museum


Located at 301 S Euclid St in La Habra, CA, the La Habra Children's Museum offers hands-on exhibits that encourage learning in young children.

The La Habra Children's Museum resides in an historic train depot built in 1923 and opened in 1977 as the first museum of its kind west of the Rocky Mountains. The museums exhibits include an outdoor dinosaur topiary, a train caboose from 1942, 7 galleries, and 14 interactive activities. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a child-sized carousel, take a look at T-Rex's footprints, pet an arctic fox, play dress up, or dig for fossils.

Operating hours for La Habra Children's Museum are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The museum is closed on Mondays and all major holidays. Guided tours are available for groups with advanced reservations. Snacks and water are available at the admission desk There is a gift shop as well where visitors will find a variety of games, toys, and educational materials.

From the Los Angeles International airport, La Habra Children's Museum is a 45-minute drive. Nearby visitors will find Old Settlers Historical Museum and various public parks.
