Crescent Bay Point Park

Crescent Bay Point Park, located on Crescent Bay Drive, Laguna Beach, CA, is 52 miles south of Los Angeles in Orange County. The beautifully landscaped park is on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and coastal views of Crescent Bay. During the months December through March, migrating whales can be seen, and sea lions are one of many marine animals that reside on the rocks below.

The park contains a paved path, shady areas and grassy lawns a nice place to relax and enjoy the cool breeze. Due to its somewhat secluded location and panoramic view, small weddings are a popular event at the park.

Crescent Bay Beach, just south of the park, is a famous scuba diving location. The protected cove keeps the wave height at a minimum and the rocky points, reefs and canyons provide perfect habitat for the native marine live.

Sunbathers in large numbers come to enjoy the white sandy beach. Other beach activities include: swimming, boogie board, bodysurfing, volleyball and snorkeling. The park and beach are open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and provide restroom facilities and lifeguards. Parking is available on the street. During the weekends and summer, parking can be difficult and it's best to arrive early.
