Callaway Vineyard & Winery

Temecula is a popular vineyard area in California and the Callaway Vineyard and Winery fits right in. The collection of wines offers something for everyone, from sweet dessert wines to bold reds. The winery's visitor center is open daily from 10 am until 5 pm. Tours are available weekends at 11 am and 1 and 3 pm. Weekends tours lead every hour between 11 am and 4 pm. Tours of the winery are free of charge. Guests who want to learn more about the wine making process and see demonstrations upclose are invited to enjoy a tour of the grounds. Wine tastings are available daily from 10 am until 5 pm. There is a fee for tasting, but this is a great way to sample some of the most popular wines from the winery. You can only purchase the wines onsite, so sampling six of the Special Selection or Winemaker's Reserve bottles are a great way to determine which will be best to add to your collection. The winery recently added a wine and truffle tasting to its schedule, allowing tasters to pair chocolates with their wines. In addition to tastings and tours, the winery is an excellent place to host your wedding. The winery can hold up to 250 guests and offers amazing views and delicious meals at the unique venue. Meritage Restaurant is onsite and a wonderful way to enjoy a gourmet wine paired with the best wines of Callaway.
