Artesa Winery

The Artesa Winery is located high in a hilltop in Napa Valley. There are views of the Valley along with San Francisco Bay and the estate. Here wines are produced at an estate where architecture, artistry and winegrowing are fused to create a beautiful place for visitors to come.

The winery is owned by Spanish family Raventos; they produce small, ultra-premium varietal wines in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate was built in the early 1990s with an avant-garde structure that blends seamlessly into the landscape.

On the 350-acre estate the winery is naturally insulated with a protective covering of reserved earth and native grasses. Between twin cascades of water and fountains a sweeping staircase leads to the winery entrance. A terrace provides 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside.

The visitor center at the winery is open daily from 10am with wine tastings held throughout the day until 4.30pm. In the visitor center is the Tasting Room and retail sales area where visitors can relax at the bar and taste the many wines available.

Tours are available for groups of eight or more visitors with advanced reservations required. Private tours are also available.

The winery is also available for group functions, with hospitality being a main key at the winery. Groups from 25 to 300 people can be accommodated for corporate receptions, dinners, educational tours and guided tastings.

Events can be held in the Main Salon which features original works of art, this rooms opens up to the Vista Terrace with 180 degree views of the vineyards. The salon can accommodate up to 130 guests. Functions could also be in the Courtyard, or the Vista Terrace for outdoor events.
